I write in lowercase

Except for post titles and descriptions, because I think it looks cleaner.

i decided that from now on, i’ll just write my blog posts the way i normally do: i follow pretty much all grammatical rules, except i don’t do uppercase letters.

the exceptions to this are names and shortenings of not too-well-known names. i will capitalize names like Windows, macOS, Debian, POSIX, GNOME, NioOS, GTK, Intel, AMD, POLA, etc.

i will probably not capitalize names like json, laser, usb, ssd, and such because i think they are common enough for most people to use as just normal words.

of couse, as noted in the title and post description, those will be properly capitalized because i think it looks way cooler when scrolling through the list of my blog posts. what can i say; double standard.

i will also just publish more, which is a relative scale. often i found myself writing in a way that did not feel really authentic to how i speak and type. i wasn’t happy with my posts, and didn’t publish them.

i’m happy with my previous posts, but i felt like i was trying to conform to some “blog standard” which i don’t like.

the outcome is that everything here will be closer to how i speak, which i think the goal of having a blog.

(three things i like are laughing, clever jokes, and the Oxford comma)
